The successful candidate for our Mitigation Operations Manager position will report directly to a Mitigation Division Manager.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall supervision and direction of the Mitigation Team.  This position is highly involved in the day-to-day project work as well as management oversight and general responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and direct damage assessments, communicating details such as drawings, moisture, temperature, and dehumidifier readings.
  • Contact client, document and prepare scope and upload estimate within established timeframes.
  • Respond to inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assign/ schedule claims and other tasks to technicians for efficient and effective claim management.
  • Oversee all jobs in progress while monitoring achievement of 3rd Party Administrators metrics and compliance requirements.
  • Work with associates and project managers for seamless transition of mitigation to structure jobs.
  • Build and maintain quality relations with potential and existing clients and customers thru existing Associations and other networking means and sources. 
  • Obtain necessary permits, testing and clearances for jobs assigned from the appropriate governing body.
  • Schedule and perform close-out meetings and final walk-thru with customers/clients.  Collect any money due, get signatures on certificates of completion and ATP, finalize any paperwork for third party compliance, set the expectation for Customer Surveys, address final punch-list items, etc.
  • Perform quality-control visits of job-sites, mitigation vehicles, and warehouse to ensure best practices are being adhered to.
  • Perform inventory of equipment (minimum quarterly) and report calculations to COO/ Division Manager.
  • Review and submit the mitigation team’s timesheets and expense reports weekly.
  • Interview, hire, train and manage employees in compliance with Phoenix standards.
  • Adhere to all established policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations.
  • Perform 24-hour on-call responsibilities in accordance with established schedule. 
  • Plan out mitigation on-call schedule with other management to ensure the mitigation on-call rotation is set and communicated for said responsibilities.  Be available for consultation and direction for those employees who are on-call when the need arises.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Construction or Business (Preferred)
  • 5 years mitigation experience (Preferred)
  • Previous experience working with insurance companies (Preferred)
