This fire was started by a laptop computer battery that overheated while sitting on a couch. The fire moved up the opposing stairwell wall, and downwards towards the basement. The smoke and heat damage was extensive resulting in the majority of the drywall being replaced.
This fire loss was caused by an electrical wire, which was located in the living room. There was minimal framing damage but the house was severely smoke damaged. The entire main floor sheetrock was replaced down to the studs. The upstairs sheetrock was also replaced mostly to studs as well.
This fire was caused by a candle which caught the kitchen drapes on fire. The extreme smoke damage required drywall replacement throughout the house. Repairs included the design and construction of a new kitchen, a new bathroom, and new bedrooms. The furnace also had to be replaced, as well being required to bring the home up to current building codes.
The fire at this residence in 2007 started in the breezeway, causing significant damage there, and quickly spread to the attached garage. The breezeway and garage damage was substantial to the point that both of those structures had to be torn down to the foundation and rebuilt. The damage to the remainder of the house was mainly related to heavy smoke damage and excessive heat.
Fire was caused by a heating source in the garage. The lower-level garage, stairway, garage entry and den were taken to stud and redone. The entire house was smoke cleaned and repainted, including front exterior siding. Exterior garage doors and all interior doors were replaced. All carpet was replaced.
